Biography

I am a Ph.D. student in the Centre for Computing and Engineering Software Systems at the Swinburne University of Technology since July 2009, supervised by Prof. Jun Han and Dr. Alan Colman. I joined as a Lecturer in the Applied Physics Electronics and Communication Engineering department at the University of Chittagong in June 2005, and promoted to an Assistant Professor in June 2008.

I have received B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), in 2004 and Pusan National University (PNU), South Korea, in 2009 respectively.

Research Interests

In general, my area of research is Pervasive Social Computing which is quite interdisciplinary. In particular, I am interested in Social Context Modeling and Management, Knowledge based information processing, Exploiting data in social media to develop Socially-Aware Mobile Applications, Context-aware Adaptive Systems. I have also keen interest to explore other relevant research areas.

Systems/Applications have developed:

SocioTelematics for Cooperative Convoy

Socially-aware Phone Call

Context-aware Social Interactions Social Context Information Middleware
