- Projects in Prof. Wang's research group lie in
interdisciplinary areas in biochemistry, biophysics, computational
chemistry, molecular spectroscopy, molecular physics and computer
simulation through world class international collaboration.
- Research students, either undergraduates and
postgraduates, are encouraged to learn research through doing research.
Students are offered opportunities to interact with world class
visiting scientists, to participate international conferences and to
publish their research findings.
- Swinburne University Postgraduate Award (Scholarship) benefits (may vary)
- Upto $21,000pa for three years, extenable for a further six
months;
- Upto four years for Ph.D. candidates (Tuition fee waiver for
four years for international students);
- Tax Free;
- HECS exempt for local students; Plus
- $840 for doctorate thesis expenses;
- To be able to join the Group with Scholarship support, you need
to meet the following criteria
- Your background in science
and engineering with strong math and physics;
- Academic transcripts for undergraduate (final two years) and
postgraduate
>=75%;
- M.Sc. by research (>67% research component) and
publications; plus
- IELTS >= 6.5 with the lowest band not less than 6.0 or
TOEFL >=91 with writing no less than 22.
- Inquiry April-May each year for mid year
entry, September-October for
end of year entry.
