I'm a postdoctoral research fellow in the Complex Intelligent Systems group in the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies at Swinburne University.
My current research concerns differential evolution, an unusual entry in the stable of nature-inspired optimisation heuristics. I have previously worked on the development of a semantic search tool for aerospace engineering (part of the Whole of Life Engineering project under the AutoCRC), as well as investigating large-scale data visualisation techniques for use by the Australian Government.
